Blog

With this blog I mainly want to inspire you. The posts are based on my experience. It can be a coaching I did, a presentation I have done, a TED talk or another youtube movie I have seen from which you can learn. The posts cover the topics that are very important for me like storytelling, how to deal with stress, body language, how to use PowerPoint, pitching and presenting to the board. The posts are in English or Dutch. As I have been blogging for years on this topic you will see that the oldest posts go way back to 2008 when I started writing articles on this topic. I have transferred all my posts to this website which unfortunately means that I have lost all the comments and reactions which is a pity but hey…you can leave new comments right 😉

This morning I heard something great on the radio. Two women were interviewed who were training to be in the next winter olympics in 2010 with the for us fairly unknown discipline, bobsleighing. Their current top speed was 130 km per hour. The interviewer asked...

Often people get very nervous in front of an audience and forget what natural eye contact is. They either look very quickly at the audience or they try to see the audience as ‘one big eye’ and try to look at everyone at the same...

You have to deserve the attention of your audience…this is what a participant told me last Friday during a training. It was his conclusion on the tips and tricks I had just given. And in fact he’s right. Getting the attention of the audience is...
